Abstract
Legal philosophy has played a role in leading all studies of human institutions for the past 2400 years. In the 19th century, in addition to John Austin with his positivism and analytical, historical teachings were also born based on the romanticism pioneered by Carl von Savigny and Puchta. This teaching is a challenge to the theory of analytical positivism. In John Austin's (1790–1859) jurisprudence analysis is the command of the ruler (law is the command of a lawgiver), which means starting from Greek thinkers who lived in the fifth century BC. The basic concept of analytical law is that which contains provisions of command, sanctions and sovereignty.
