Abstract

One of the government programs, especially for workers / laborers, is through the regulation of copyright laws. It is hoped that this law will bring benefits to workers / laborers, especially in providing better social protection and security. To see the realization of this will be highlighted by law number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, in particular CHAPTER X according to the topic of this paper, Law Number 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System and Law Number 24 of 2011 concerning Social Security Administering Bodies. For this reason, a descriptive analytical research method approach is carried out with a normative approach and literature study. The reality is that there is a decrease and there is also an increase that is better for workers / laborers. When viewed from Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning manpower in Chapter X, there is a decrease and no increase. Meanwhile, Law Number 40 of 2004 and Number 24 of 2011 shows a better improvement. In more detail, this paper will reveal the facts about how far the perspective of the Job Creation Law guarantees the protection and welfare of workers / laborers.
